Dr. Poplas Susič is absent until further notice. She is being replaced by Dr. Zavrnik, who is in the office on reduced working hours, and Dr. Mužič, who is present in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Flu vaccination
We have started with seasonal flu vaccination. You can order a vaccination via the portal, in person at the office or by phone. Flu vaccination is free for all persons with compulsory health insurance. 

Pneumococcal vaccination 
Along with the flu vaccination, it is recommended that older people and chronic patients also receive a pneumococcal vaccination. Vaccination for chronic patients and all persons aged 65 and over with the pneumococcal vaccine is financed from the funds of compulsory health insurance. 

Flu vaccination and vaccination against pneumococcal infections can be done at the same time.

WHERE IS THE LOCATION OF THE BLOOD COLLECTION LAB?

​

When the physician in our office refers you for a blood draw, the referral is sent electronically to two of the labs listed below. Please visit one of them:

• Zdravstveni dom Šentvid, Ob zdravstvenem domu 1, 1210 Ljubljana - Šentvid (the appointment should be scheduled in advance through the website)

• Zdravstveni dom Vič, Šestova ulica 10, 1000 Ljubljana 

After the blood is taken, the results are sent directly to the doctor’s office (usually the next working day). All results are checked by the doctor. In case of a significant deviation of results, you will be contacted.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SPECIALIST (USING A REFERRAL)?

If the doctor in our office issues a referral (Napotnica) for another diagnostic test or a specialist examination, you should make an appointment by phone, email or electronically (contact the selected healthcare provider). There is a time limit for the validity of a referral based on the priority classification (stopnja nujnosti):

• Urgent (Nujno): the referral should be used the same day or the next day; you should contact the health care provider immediately.

• Very fast (Zelo hitro): 7 days.

• Fast (Hitro) or Regular (Redno): 21 days.

We recommend that you use the online portal eAppointment (eNaročanje) to make appointments for healthcare services. Unfortunately, this website is only in Slovenian, so you should use an online translation tool. In the first field you should enter your insurance number (9-digit bold number from your insurance card); in the second field you should enter the referral number.

On the online portal Waiting Times (Čakalne dobe)  you can check the estimated waiting time for a specific healthcare service. Unfortunately, this website is only in Slovenian, so you should use an online translation tool.

On the online portal ZVEM you can view your medical data (prescribed medications, issued referrals, some medical reports, etc.) and make an appointment with a specialist. In order to use these functions, the use of a digital certificate is required. This website is also available in English.

CAN I REGISTER AT YOUR PRACTICE?

​

Currently, registration at our practice (for Črt Zavrnik, MD) is only available to family members of patients who are already registered. There are currently over 1900 patients registered at our practice.
